The Hall

The door is made of great oak, heavy and sturdy, like the Men of the North. Placing your hand upon it, and pushing, it opens to reveal one of great treasures of the Crossroads, a vast Hall of the northern style. For those knowing in the ways of the North, they would feel quite at home here. There is always a great fire burning, meat roasting and drinks being served. A warm glow fills you as the flames draw you closer. Taking two steps in, your feet feel the worn stones, your hand to your sword as you look about and decide you are safe. There is a sand pit nearby, its center sunken into the floor. The pit has tables scattered about its edges and when brought together makes for great merriment. Many a night has been spent here, drinking, gambling and celebrating. At the rear of the room, there are steps, which takes one to the kitchen and the entrance of a cold room.
